Description

Here is a late-1970s pressing of the Rolling Stones' psychedelic LP that was mistakenly issued in mono, even though the label is the blue stereo London NPS-2. I believe this was the last of their LPs released in mono in the US. At any rate, this isn't something you see regularly and it appears to be in pristine, virtually unplayed condition. Under a bright light, I see only the faintest of wisps from being taken out of the sleeve, but this record is in shiny and beautiful 1-play condition. This is without question the original mono pressing and not a mere fold-down; you will be hard-pressed to find a cleaner copy. The matrix numbers are tough to read, but I am seeing:

Side 1) ARL-8126-1C and NPS 2A-1-1-1

Side 2) ARL-8127-1C and NPS 2B-1-1-1

The numbers are crudely etched on both sides with a few factory scratch-outs and a limited amount of deadwax space, and the same numbers are etched very faintly in duplicate on side 2. Original cover is excellent, as is the red & white inner sleeve. Thanks for looking, and please contact me if you have any questions.
