We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Original 1965 VINYL first pressing of the second Manfred Mann album .. the rare monaural release offers different song mixes from the stereo issue and, as well, contains the big beat 'monophonic' boom in the production -- much different from the stereo release.
Surprise surprise - one of the best albums of 1964. Very impressed by the general sound, hot tempos and production. Excellent well recorded drums. Richly varied instrumentation with piano, organ, vibraphone, harmonica and flute and reverb guitar all dancing the the teen scene beat of 1964.
The talented British Invasion band, Manfred Mann, started with this album to rack up UK chart hits ... their R&B/bluesy flavors changed some over to catchy poprock/beatrock infusions that still have the sound, very good, very vintage appeal...
The group's second British album — released just as the original lineup was entering a state of collapse with the impending departure of two key members — shows some of the changes that can happen in a year, as they moved away from Chess Records' brand of blues as their baseline. Instead, they produced a sound that's slightly smoother filled with catchy beat/poprock fueled nuggets. A handful of originals, mostly by Mike Vickers and Mike Hugg with one Paul Jones-authored number thrown in, are scattered amid covers of songs originated by the Skyliners, and T-Bone Walker. If it isn't as fierce, bold, or daringly ambitious as the Manfreds' debut long-player, The Five Faces Of Manfred Mann is just as much a virtuoso effort, and a surprisingly cohesive one, considering that it was released immediately after Mike Vickers and Paul Jones announced their respective departures from the band.
