Description

MONO Blonde On Blonde BOB DYLAN 1968 Reissue on Columbia Records CL 2517.
Rare and unusual pressing of this iconic album. The case features the later printing with 7 pictures and not including Cardinale. Yet the pressing is in MONO which was not used after 1966 in favor of the STEREO. According to Discogs, there is a 1966 pressing with the same cover and runout as this issue, yet the 7 photo covers were not introduced until 1968, when few Mono records were being pressed. So this one is an anomaly!!
VINYL in VG condition with several light hairlines and paper scuffs. Looks G+ but plays solid VG. Some groove wear in tracks closer to the end of each side, but this is pretty common with this title for what I have experienced. The sound is loud and in-your-face with the Mono issue, quite different to the Stereo. Full bass and drums! Looks to be a Pitman pressing according to the small "P" stamped in the runouts.
COVER in VG with light ring wear, creasing, corner bumps, and the spine has wear around the edges and some rubbing. Spine fully readable and all seams are solid and intact. Inner gatefold very nice.
