(MONKEES) DOLENZ JONES BOYCE and HART LIVE AT DISNEYLAND 1976 BLUE VINYL.
Ok guys bear with me on this one. I bought this album back in the late 70's from a place called Goin' Back Enterprises in Hawaii. At the time it was about your only option for rare Monkees stuff. Audio/video was usually pretty poor but hey it was the Monkees! When i got this LP in the mail my first thought was "the album cover is blank!" No color, no writing, nothing. It did come with a insert on a sheet of paper which i later lost and i reprinted one from another source. My second thought when i looked at the label - "This album is by some German guy!!". I thought i had been hosed but i put it on the turntable and it was DJB&H at Disneyland. Audio isn't the greatest but i've heard much worse. Since i wasn't happy with the blank album cover i decided to "customize" it and i painted it three different colors. Not sure if i improved it or not but i was only about 15 at the time and my creative juices were flowing! For sure it's a one of a kind piece :) The condition of the vinyl i would rate as Good, some light scratches but i played the heck out of it back in the day. It will make a unique addition to any Monkees fan's collection for sure!
