The Artwoods "Art Gallery" Lp (Decca LP ND576, 1966).
Here is one that very seldom comes up for sale. This is an original copy on the German 'Musik Fur Alle' Label. I would grade the record and cover as "excellent" overall but I will endeavour to give you as accurate a description as possible. The Cover: Overall the original lamination is still intact but it is beginning to flake away on the edge that the record goes into. There are no seam splits, but the top seam has come away and needs to be re-glued. There are a few creases to the cover, especially on the corners, but nothing extraordinary for a 45 year old record.Someone has also written a small number '44' on the cover but it is hardly noticeable.The Record: Both labels are clean. Vinyl has several superficial sleeving marks but still retains a lot of it's gloss. There is general background noise throughout the record, but I don't think it detracts from the overall listening pleasure. Furthermore, this record has been in storage for 20 years and playing may remove some of the noise. The 'One More Heartache" track has a (feelable) scratch mark that runs across the entire length of the track, causing a faint clicking noise when played. I would suggest downloading this track to hear it for yourself. I would also recommend a close listen to 'I keep forgettin' as there is some background noise evident during the quieter parts of the track. There is also a small scuff to the vinyl on the 'Walk On The Wild Side' which doesn't effect play.
