M.O.D./M.O.D. (2) (1979, Vertigo, UK) PROMO!!! It’s a Mod Mod world….and soooo British. Definitely the best Mod picture sleeve I’ve ever seen for a 7” record. The scooter and the smart driver are looking perfect. The same sold on eBay, in February 2010, for £27 (UK). What a shame, it’s the only 7” release by this great band. You are bidding on the original first pressing. A rare PROMO because there is the release date (26 JUL 1979) rubber-stamped on one label side. As you know, these records were used for promotional purposes and the release date stamps were put on by the record companies to inform the radio stations and journalists of the release dates. I’ve never ever seen a promo 7” of this record before!! To add to the appeal of this outstanding item is the ORIGINAL (not photocopy) advert. This advert is also in tip-top condition and is taken from an old NME-magazine from the same year!

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen 7“ Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special 7“ record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
Payment / Bezahlung: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal. Wird ein Gesamtwert von 35 Euro, $50 oder £30 erreicht, so verschicke ich ausschließlich als Einschreibebrief (3,50 Euro) bzw. innerhalb Deutschlands optional auch als DHL-Paket (5,00 Euro).
