Mod mover by the English drummer who's best remembered for filling in for Ringo Starr,
for several 1964 Beatles concerts. (Ringo was hospitalized with tonsillitis.)
Nicol would later do some fill-in duties for the Dave Clark Five, as well.
On his own, Nicol fronted the Shubdubs, and they're here (uncredited) on this original UK
advance promotional copy. The A-side is a mod instrumental, in a Georgie Fame kind of bag,
while the flip takes on Merseybeat, complete with "yeah yeah yeah"s in the backing vocals.
Still in its original Pye UK sleeve.
