We got Jerry Miller, Peter Lewis, Skip Spence, Bob Mosley and Don Stevenson.

We got the poster, the finger, the shrink wrap and the first pressing on impeccable high-gloss vinyl.

We got GRAPE.

Columbia Records didn't have a CLUE what to do with these guys; they just knew they were the company's best shot for hitting it big in the exploding San Francisco scene.

They actually put out FIVE 45 rpm singles from this debut album (simultaneously!) No LP, no band, no artist ever had that happen previously. That's 10 of the songs hitting the AM radio stations at once. Of course OMAHA and HEY GRANDMA were the biggies, but CHANGES, 8:05 and SOMEDAY got plenty of airtime as well.

And why not? Every one of these guys could and did write incredible songs for the album! Solid from beginning to finish; charged with heady atmosphere, killer guitar-work, California freedom, San Francisco attitude and the Summer Of Love.

Vinyl is kept in an anti-static inner sleeve.

Yes the POSTER is MINT.
Crisp, clean and sharp edged with no tears, holes, wrinkles or marks. I think it has stayed inside the LP sleeve for the entire 39 years that this classic album has been so carefully preserved.

The Shrink-wrap is only 3/4 intact, but it has still kept the cover in beautiful shape all these years.
(The original 1967 price sticker you see in upper left is on the shrink wrap, of course; not on the actual cover art.)
