MISTERS VIRTUE garage fuzz 45 on VECTOR “Captured" HEAR

Awesome vintage psych garage 45 gem featuring MISTERS’ VIRTUE on the VECTOR label out of Washington, D.C., from approximately the mid sixties.    

Titles are “Captured” and “Summer Night.”   

This single was produced by Ray Vernon (Vernon Wray), Link’s older brother.  Publisher’s credit is given to Florentine Music, which was Vernon and Link’s company.   I assume this was recorded at Wray's Three Track Shack in Accokeek, Maryland, but cannot confirm.

Label is white with red print, presumably a promo.  Catalog number is V-211.  There is a hand written  “X” in red crayon to indicate the plug side for radio station air play.      

Condition is nice VG++ with full original gloss.  There are a few light scuffs (not audible), otherwise flawless vinyl.  The fidelity is awesome as you can hear in the sound clips below.  The original owner wrote his name (Willie Thompson) on both sides in neat script, and the number “22” on the plug side.  You will not find a nicer sounding copy anywhere.
