MISSISSIPPI JOHN HURT "1928 SESSIONS" mono lp on Yazoo 1065 US issue 1980 NM/VG+. (New dealer. Please check my About Me page.)

I would grade this LP NM, as it looks and plays pretty much as the day it was unsealed, with minimal play and minimal, if any, cosmetic marks. (Please keep in mind that some labels -- Crown, United, even a lot of Atlantic -- were recorded with less than state-of-the-art technology, my point being that some labels sound better than others.) Cream of the crop. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). No need to talk about John Hurt, one of a kind. The tunes:GOT THE BLUES CAN'T BE SATISFIED; LOUIS COLLINS; BLUE HARVEST BLUES; AVALON BLUES; BLESSED BE THY NAME; NOBODY'S DIRTY BUSINESS; FRANKIE; AIN'T NO TELLIN'; BIG LEG BLUES; STACK O' LEE; PRAYING ON THE OLD CAMP GROUND; SPIKE DRIVER BLUES; CANDY MAN BLUES.

The Jacket: (I don’t rate any jackets with my initials NM) In black magic marker, my initials back upper left, an x back lower left. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover VG+ overall with normal shelf wear. A cut-out corner.
