Description
This is the original 1984 UK pressing of Mercyful Fate - Don't Break The Oath on Music For Nations / Roadrunner records. This record plays somewhere between a VG+ and EX. It has hairlines that DNAP. The only real upgrade from this record would be a sealed or untouched one. It sounds incredible! Any white spots on the LP in the photos are just dust. Contact me for audio examples of the 'silence' areas to judge noise. The front of the jacket displaying the cover art is in even better condition (my devil is it beautiful... would be an awesome display piece). The misprint part is in the printed label for side one. When I first got this I thought there was a damaged label until I took a closer look and realized that the pressing plant tech accidentally used two labels on top of each other. If you look at the pictures you can see me lifting it up with my pinky fingernail. I haven't and won't lift it higher than that because I want to preserve it. There's a perfectly good, flat label underneath it. It can most likely be removed without damage (search youtube for examples) but I think it's cool that this has survived for 40 years with no one removing it. Maybe keep it as-is to preserve the cool accident!
