We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! A Seldom turning up original 1968 British Columbia artifact in condition too good to be true - yet it is! ....................................................................
- A very solid mix of classic 1968 UK psychedelia and early progressive rock influences.
- Favorite songs may be the A-side closer "Misleading Colours" and "Plastic Horizon" from side B. "I Never Know" is also one of the best on the album, but all in all this is a really balanced record with very enjoyable tracks included; Having No fillers.
There's nothing major to complain about. The material is entertaining including their organ driven and sizzling guitar sound ~ mixed very effectively. - "Genesis" by The Gods is a nice album on the verge of reaching masterpiece status in British psychedelic rock. Definitely worth checking out for the genre of fans

Candles Getting Shorter is more in a kind of psych rock vein, reminding a bit of Trower" era Procol Harum. The vocal harmonies don't let up for a second, becoming washed in Mellotron in the heavenly sections. A delightful Hammond counter- melody provides counterpoint interest to what is in essence a love song.
More weirdness leads to You're My Life, a Yardbirds inspired mid-tempo rocker, which stays in the Uriah Heep ballpark, using their trademark breakdown techniques - and some surprising backing arrangements in the chorus, lending an altogether accessible feel. The melodic and modal guitar solo is a pleasant change from the styles at the time in '68. So prolific, competing with the best of classic West Coast group efforts of the best.
Looking Glass has distinct and unusual harmonic progressions and featuring those dizzying choir heights typical of Uriah Heep. A bit predictable, immensely enjoyable, and a lot of fun, especially the organ lines that hint at both Classical inspiration and Eastern-style modes. Features with some really gorgeous key changes of their own at the time.
Misleading Colours wears its Hendrix influence on its sleeve, and has a early prog sound combined with a driving force that really rocks.
Radio Show appears to be an attempt at commercial success - the sound suddenly changes to an appealing style with infectious melody, then ubruptly changes with many ideas densely packed into the track that would be an easy mistake to write off. It's insanely catchy too.
Plastic Horizon opens with the Hammond organ and vocal harmonies in their most progressive song - the keyboard textures provide a developing journey until the regular beat kicks in - when the song breaks down and changes tempo to a state of emotional bliss. An epic performance for the time - and better than a lot of the music around now.
Farthing Man ups the tempo, with added vocal mayhem. A Strawberry Fields-like change combines with other strong Beatles influences, before the uptempo section is returned to the opening theme.
I Never Know delivers Mellotron returning with a Beatles/Hendrix-inspired riff, and a large number of tempo changes, including floating vocal harmonies in a prototype of "Prog Rock." The guitar solo is unusual in the context of its backing, which consists of a military-style snare pattern.
The album wraps up with Time and Eternity, an uptempo number in much the same vein as the rest of the material, with the same influences - the vocals and overall style reminding of what "Yes" would later do. Towards the Skies (3:24)
