Description
I bought this copy of Trout mask Replica in a New York City record shop 15 years ago. It was sealed in shrinkwrap which I removed 2 or 3 years ago. My intention was to play and record the record which I never did. This is absolutely pristine and unplayed. I have since learned that one does not remove shrinkwrap. You can see from my photos that the gatefold cover is near perfect with only the slightest top and bottom of the spine color loss. Anyhow, here it is. Happy bidding & good luck..

PHOTOS OF THE LABEL ADDED TUESDAY EVENING
Discogs states a first issue of Trout Mask Replica must have the following Errata on labels vs sleeve:
"Moonlight On Vermont" is printed wrongly as "Moonlight In Vermont" on label.
"The Blimp" is printed "The Blimb" (wrongly) & has "(Mousetrapreplica)" suffix on label.
and this record has those errors.
However, the Matrix / Runout on my copy contains 2 sets of catalog numbers, the 2 STS 1053 which is CROSSED-OUT on all four sides, with the SMS2027 number etched close by. The absence of the lyric sheet on a record that I broke the seal on also adds to the mystery. Please bid accordingly. If this changes anybody's bid please let me know right away. Thanks.
