Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. MINTY CLEAN ...out of print (limited) exact 2nd press is hard to tell from the mega rare $400+ valued first issue that was recorded in 1971. One of the most exciting Lp's from the German underground (Krautrock) scene, it's full of imagination, dark themes and expressive driven playing ... highky recommended for anyone into the underground/psych/prog genre from early '70s ... 

This wonderful debut album by the roots-oriented German progressive-psychedelic act RUFUS ZUPHALL makes a big impression. This is one of those great gems that has clearly stood the test of time, and listening to it is still gives the listener enjoyment enriched with nostalgia time and time again. Though the music is impressionistic and wild, it mostly bluesy 70's rock oriented by blues, jazz touches, folk mixes and slightly psychedelic influences. Maybe even the most talented musician of the band is UDO DAHMEN playing the drums. There are evident classic jazz influences to be heard in his playing. KLAUS GÜLDEN's whirling flute is fantastic - a good extra color in the band's palette, creating both soothing and chaotic sounds.

The album begins with "Walpurgisnacht", a stoned bluesy rocker in the vein of the best of the early Krautrock groups. The second song "Knight Of 3rd Degree" has Spanish and medieval elements in the music, and it's metaphorical lyrics are fine, making up this track as one of the top moments of this wonderful album. The following songs "Spanferkel" and "Freitag" are very cool numbers, the last one having very insane and painful sounding guitar solo. The second side of the LP holds the title track "Weiss der Teufel", which concludes many different elements and mad flute solos to a wonderful avant-garde rock/psych epic. Very emotional and powerful stuff!
