PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Alan Black introduces the format which gives the band an opportunity to give a true statement about their music with “complete creative freedom and a chance to communicate”. Ironically the first song is “Communication Breakdown”, the normal encore. This version includes Page playing a funk riff over which Plant sings “I wanna do little mama babe yeah but I don’t seem to mind / I can’t stop the feelin’, baby mama, I’m givin’ you a ride” before quoting from the Isley Brothers “It’s Your Thing”. The song segues perfectly into “I Can’t Quit You Babe”.
The interview following this song is conducted by the host with Plant and Page, speaking about the popularity of underground groups like them and Jethro Tull. At the end Black encourages the band to play one of their longer numbers. John Paul Jones can be heard in the background replying “Oh really?” and Page, for some reason, says “Jim Morrison?” before Plant says, “when we finish that, we’ll be well out of breath”.
The mc introduces Jimmy Page to play “White Summer/Black Mountain Side”, one of the most perfect versions on tape. “You Shook Me” is a rare version which has John Paul Jones playing the Hammond organ. The opening notes are still much louder than the rest of the track, probably due to the engineer not expecting the loud volume. The finale “How Many More Times” lasts for thirteen minutes and includes snippets of “Smokestack Lightening” before the first verse

Led Zeppelin began recording on April 1, 1971 between 9-10:45 PM. The performance was for BBC Radio 1 'In Concert' and tape delayed on air, broadcast on radio April 4th at 7pm
The next day after the recording, on April 2, 1971, Jimmy & Robert returned to the Paris Cinema Theatre to supervise the editing of the night's performance into the LP format.
Documents found a few years ago revealed how, before the radio broadcast, Jimmy stepped in after their recording and advised that Led Zeppelin was withdrawing their approval of the show, demanding that the recording not be made available to the rest of the world. Jimmy eventually ended up remixing the recording. A BBC memo shows the group felt "this will be better technically both for the BBC and for us and it will cost the same amount of money". This is a explosive set - recommended to all Zeppelin and all '60s/'70s hardrock fans.
