A true 1st pressing ! And it has the EXTREMELY rare Pathe sleeve, which only with a few of the 1st pressings only !
1st pressing: No brackets around the name Capital / outer rim on the GLOSSY rainbow label Two plants pressed Beatles records, the indentation ring found on the labels allows us to easily identify which plant pressed a record. The early RCA pressings had a deep circular groove etched in the label and the later Compo pressings only had a small ring around the spindle hole. ( this lp is RCA )
Litho in Canada on the bottom of the right side  of the front of the album cover Capitol T-2108 Mono Only Early editions are RCA-pressed with a Parrs sleeve and use Scranton metal parts.
Early editions in loose wrap, with or without Capitol/Pathe inner sleeve. Capitol ST-2108 STEREO copies appeared after June 1966, with brackets around the word Canada on the label perimeter print. EMI Music Canada lists original release date as 1964 July 20 **  AS explained above these early 1st pressings were never sealed.
AN absolutely stunning example of this LP rare lp. Rare ? yes. While over 2 million of the U.S. version has been sold, not including all the newer re-issues, less than 50 thousand of the Canadian version have been sold. That includes both Mono and Stereo ! Out of those 50,000 only some included this extremely rare Pathe sleeve ( especially in this condition )
Condition : Vinyl, not even a paper wisp on either side Labels, not a mark on either side All 4 corners nice and square Lettering on the spine, perfectly centered and sharp No ring wear either side ( original owners name in ink on the back side ) funny to see our 1960's 7 digit phone #. Memories The Pathe sleeve is N/M ....No tears, writing, or any other disfigurement. Ironed it'd be mint  Colours are vibrant. The white is just starting to fade The mouth is perfect
Take a good look at the pictures, come to your own conclusion. Any questions please ask before bidding with confidence
