PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE & SOUGHT ...ORIGINAL 1971 first pressing in gatefold cover = and talk about the music within...One of those forgotten nuggets from England. Your basic quartet playing average sized numbers (around the six min lenght but full of energy and all of the things a fan of progressive & psych rock loves dearly. Everyone of these tracks are strong , upbeat and full of good interplay. This album came out on the RCA/Neon label (quite collectible nowadays) along with other pearls among which Spring & Tonton Macoute are worth seeking out...

Fans of early 70's acid progressive like GRAVY TRAIN should well love England's "Indian Summer". This album is loaded will lots of driving rhythms and "psychy" musical passages with emphasis on keyboards and guitars. Vocals (Bob Jackson) are quite good and have a certain wildness about them. Although fairly heavy musically speaking, "Indian Summer" do resonate with a cetain Cantebury leanings actually and at times remind of a heavier version of Caravan. Songs are well written and do carry a certain dark atmosphere to them which many will enjoy. The recording and speaker seperation is actually quite good. Most importantly, "Indian Summer" have a very original and professional sound quality to their music and they were clearly one of the better bands who had far too short an existence. This is one of those albums which once you get into, you well may cherish fondly forever... full of lots of razzle & dazzle with no boring tracks...
1970 heavy prog with long instrumental passages, lots of gushing Hammond organ meets guitar interplays and solid bass lines all over.

CONDITION: The Cover: looks pretty clean from the front and back but at one time has been exposed to moisture, so while all the colors are bright as originally released, the lower portion is not stiff like a US cover, but more like a UK cover, no problem there, but a couple of inches at far bottom right cover is worn/peeled to the brown, though not that noticable 'cause it fits in with the scenery design (see photo #1). The back cover and insides look fine (see photos) the dark cover is especially hard to find THIS clean (usually found with heavy ring wear)... has no writing and no split seams ... still makes for a collection worthy score!
The Vinyl: is all glossy clean on both sides, top MINT instantly looks beautiful ...shiny smooth and clean without marks, was it EVER played? You could be the first to ever play this copy! ...the Neon/RCA labels are clean
