PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. "The Original Fleetwood Mac" may come as a surprise to many. CBS's released this album to cash in on the band's sudden appeal and sales domination in the early 70's -- so this "rarities" collection pulls together twelve early bluesrock-oriented numbers. Apparently drawn from previous '67 '68 unreleased material, the album showcases Peter Green in the role of band leader and creative mainstay (7 of the 12 tracks are Green originals). While being standard English blues boom-rock, material like 'Drifting', 'Leaving Town Blues' and the pounding 'Rambling Pony No, 2' (check out Mick Fleetwood's double time tom-tom pattern) has definitely something going for them, as does the rest of the album. While song for song the album sounds not all that different from prime era (1st) Climax Blues Band, Bluesbreakers, Savoy Blues Band, etc. Overall an album that's given us a considerable amount of pleasure over the years. Lest we fail to give credit where due, Jeremy Spencer was also one helluva guitarist - check out his acoustic slide work on 'Mean Old Fireman' and 'Allow Me One More Show'. Certainly not an album for the 'Rhiannon' era crowd, but rather a solid Peter Green era MAC album of burning electrified blues-rock.
