We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Boston's self-titled debut is a great paradox. What sounds like guitars being fed through computers is actually a mix of vintage guitars, amps, and effects. Also, the band were tagged as corporate rockers, which is untrue, as the album was actually recorded in leader Tom Scholz's basement, making it truly independent rock.
One of the those albums where every song has been played on the classic rock radio station...in otherwords every song is a winner. There are no 'bad' tracks whatsoever.
With this first BOSTON album, the band achieved two things; they made one of the strongest debut albums in history of rock and secondly they started the whole arena rock genre that became mega-popular all over the universe in the late 70´s. It´s hard to tell where is the main strength here. Is it in the powerful voice of Brad Delp or in Scholz´s guitar escapedes? Every song is played techically perfect. Recorded on a simple 12-track recorder as a demo, it was so good that the record company released it. Tom Scholz masterminded the project in his spare time; little did he know that this record would become a hi-fi store standard demo disc. Since that time, this record-breaking debut has sold 15 million copies in its homeland. Sholtz put so much effort into making it, he has managed only three further records in 22 years. "More Than A Feeling" still soars in a classic rock sort of way and the harmonies are pretty impressive.
