Description
This is a wonderful example of a beautifully recorded UK 2 Lp box set, it is a thick heavy vinyl deep groove early original, stereo 1E/2E, 1E/2D pressing. and features ERNEST ANSERMET conducting L'ORCHESTRE DE LA SUISSE ROMANDE, performing TCHAIKOVSKY SWAN LAKE.(Ballet) (op.20). these early stereo FFSS Lps are very sought after by golden eared audiophiles for their gorgeous sound quality and production value. they are getting much harder to find in nice condition, The box is pristine, the spine is strong with No tears or wear, the gold print beautiful, corners strong and not pushed in, torn, bent, worn, etc. the bottom half is in the same perfect condition, front is shiny, clean, and pristine, No ring wear, stickers, writing, fading, stains, etc. back has large FFSS logo, it is a blue back, On the inside of front half of box are the notes and titles of each performance. Bottom half has MICHAEL WILLIAMSON notes. Lps have pristine labels and playing surfaces, labels have No spindle marks, fading, stains, wear, writing, stickers, etc. Playing surfaces have a mirror gloss shine, No scratches, scuffs, groove wear, defects, warps, sleeve stains, etc. They came in their original London plastic lined , thick paper, static free inner sleeves with NO seam splits. Very happy I could make available this beautiful set in this CONDITION: BOX NM + / 2 LPS MINT . This set was part of a collection I acquired from the daughter of an NBC SYMPHONY Orchestra violinist. I have a few more lps from this collection to make available.
