Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. The scarce and sought after Original first pressing of the legendary HEAVY underground hardrock crew SAINT VITIS in strinking black and silver cover .... You don;t see this one anyway, but a MINT copy with NO wear on the black cover - forget it....here, a special all MINT original up for grabs.... includes the elusive lyrics inner sleeve
Guitars ooze black slime, the kick drum is deep and heavy, and the pace slowly decays into a crawl like a zombie trudging through the spray of a flamethrower. Add in a bit of garage mentality and an eerily beckoning vocalist and you have a filthy classic.
Saint Vitus managed to get the Black Sabbath "Master Of Reality" sound and expand on it = both bass and rhythm guitars merged into one dirty, doomy monster that sludges forward overpowering all in it's way. After checking out Witchfinder General, Trouble and Pentagram from this period, you can figure correctly that this FIRST Saint Vitus album is a heavy rock band that utilised Black Sabbath riffs and religious / creepy imagery. Even so, this sound makes them something a little bit different from the above mentioned bands. It gives them a genuinely disturbing feel that the others couldn't really manage and when combined with Scott Reagers strange, slightly psychotic sounding vocals, adds up to something unique indeed. All in all
quite possibly the best doom heavyrock albums ever. Notice that the album just grinds away slower and slower, and towards the end of Burial at Sea, all exploding hell breaks loose...
CONDITION: The Cover: fabulous MINT shape even if a piece of the front shrink wrap (at bottom front only) is missing, the rest of the cellophane fits nice and tight on front and back cover, No matter, the cover is mint everywhere, a TOP *best* copy you could hope for...usually IF found it is worn out, so grab the rare chance at this survivor = been in careful hands for all many years.... NO split seams, NO bends, NO writing - just all MINT
