We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

If you were listening in 1966, it was pretty hard to escape "Elusive Butterfly," a beautifully rendered, radio-ready piece of folk-rock, with its wall-of-acoustic guitar production courtesy of Jack Nitzsche, Phil Spector's right-hand man. The accompanying album DON'T BE CONCERNED has that same shimmering L.A. poprock sound throughout. But Bob Lind never wrote anything as distinctive as "Butterfly," although "Cheryl's Going Home" runs a close second and was a high point for the Blues Project, who could have used a few more songs like it. "Truly Julie's Blues" sounds like a smoothed-out version of Dylan's "Queen Jane Approximately," extraordinarily pretty in spots but the rest of the tunes on the album don't quite measure up. In the end, Bob Lind didn't have the heft of a Fred Neil, the literary craft of Paul Simon or sheer musical craft of Tim Hardin. So it's perhaps fitting that he basically wound up a main member ("Mr. Zero"? ) in the famous Wrecking Crew machine, and wrote some pretty great songs within this lost classic album.
