Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This 1970 LP was one of the strangest, trippiest, and just plain most far-out records that many 'heads' had never heard.... The album exudes a dark version of acid rock—but it is tricky. Sometimes the band would go deep into West Coast psych grooves; other times, a deep funk-rock drops on by. The song titles themselves sounded like flower power jabberwocky: On “Sitting Here on a Tongue,” that phrase is sung ad infinitum over a fuzzed-out, reverb-laden funk groove so heavy it sounded like it was recorded inside the Lytle Tunnel. The longest cut is an open-ended improvisation that leaves a tang of avant-garde acid-rock with complex moves in its wake. The record is bizarre and GREAT. "The Grodeck Whipperjenny, is 1970 ACID ARCHIVES small pressing, released in Cincinnati ... the album won universal critical claim but still failed to propel the highly talented outfit into the big time. Described by one critic as 'a superb psychedelic/progressive effort -- full of imagination and fresh ideas,' others locked into the album's abundant funky rhythms, prompting another pundit to excitedly proclaim Grodeck as 'an acid funk monster of an album which will blow the flavor saver right off your mug!' Every track is excellent in its own right which makes it difficult to single out particular highlights, but 'Conclusions' is a superb instrumental of jaw-dropping strings, heavy Hammond organ and stinging guitar, while 'Evidence For The Existence Of The Unconscious' features fine keyboards, echoed vocal and fuzz guitar. In between the acidic locked grooves of tunes like "Sitting Here On A Tongue" and "Put Your Thing On Me" (possibly one of the greatest song titles of all time) are some screwball shenanigans that leaves listeners eye brows arched & ears perked listen after listen. The jamming "Conclusions" is a stirring arrangement of jaw dropping strings, heavy hammond and stinging guitar that grooves just right. "You're Too Young" is a short little ditty with a lite, head bopping melody that sound/read like they were snatched out of a Code Of Honor 7". The surprises that lie in store for you on this record are numerous and prove to be life affirming with each earful. Now that's bad ass!!!
