(Fe'). My subtitle should read Why I'll never succeed in record dealing as it seems everybody's after rock, soul, jazz, etc and meanwhile, vanity press oddities like these are the kind of records I will always prize the most. Music here is the result of a collaboration between a Midwest minister & a group of Brazilian nuns. The album was recorded in Brazil in 1964 and released in West Virginia to little or no fanfair; in fact, my copy, from the archive of an East Coast seminary, still has the original library card which is completely blank. In other words, it was never once checked out (this breaks my heart every time I pull it out)! Anyway... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, loosen up your edgy little hipster belt, massage that left brain for a quick minute and see if you can't flow with these gloriously unique and uplifting grooves. Sounds like these don't come around so often! And autographed copies don't either, this is the first I've heard of and the minister has long since passed away.
