Description
MILT JACKSON QUARTET
Milt Jackson (vib) Horace Silver (p) Percy Heath (b) Connie Kay (d) Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, NJ, May 20, 1955 Prestige #7003 Nice original Prestige thick vinyl/flat lip edge 12 inch 33&1/3 DEEP GROOVE MONO Lp from 1955, 446 W 50th St. NYC address on the label, "RVG" and the "ear" in the dead wax.
The vinyl is clean but for one light needle line at the beginning of side two, it does not affect play. There are other very light superficial spindle lines, but none of the marks affect the playback, however, there is some light background static under the music, VG+.
The cover is worn around the corners. Two of the corners have crease lines, and there's light ringwear front and back with some light water stains along the back paste-on spine side. The edges have chipping all around but no splits, VG+ (see pictures for more details).
