Description

Milk 'n' Cookies - self-titled debut

Insanely rare glam/power-pop/proto-punk GEM by this criminally-overlooked Long Island, NY quartet! As far as we know, this was never even released on any format in their home country! A fascinating study in the confluence of the burgeoning punk movement, the fading glam aesthetic, and the ever-in-flux power pop sound which was transitioning from the early-70s likes of the Raspberries and Badfinger to its late 70s form as represented by Cheap Trick, Elvis Costello, The Beat, etc.

Original UK Pressing (it had only one run), featuring a custom cardboard inner sleeve. This particular copy bears A1/B5 matrices.

THIS IS THE GENUINE ARTICLE - NOT THE 2xLP 180G IMPOSTER!

Jacket Grade: EX - Some light ringwear is present, as are a couple of faint storage creases, but overall this sucker looks SHARP!

Vinyl Grade: VG+ - A couple of light hairlines here and there, but still pretty glossy. Sounded quite sharp when we gave it a test-spin (strictly business, of course...)!

Inner Sleeve Grade: EX - Really very sharp, just a short, faint wrinkle here and there. Each seam does have a small disc bump/abrasion, but NONE are split-through. Disc will be placed in another inner sleeve (and, of course, outside of the jacket) in transit to prevent any further wear.
