MY FUNNY VALENTINE MILES DAVIS In Concert
RECORDED IN MONO With the rare "GUARANTEED HIGH FIDELITY" on the labels
Columbia CL 2306 scarce 1965 pressing. With Herbie Hancock, George Coleman, Tony Williams & Ron Carter. Wonderful MILES DAVIS! A great "My Funny Valentine" album from MILES DAVIS! The record is in VG+ to VG++ condition. Both labels are in excellent "like new" condition with no writing, stickers or any unusual wear at all. The spindle holes look great with no wear! A higher gloss finish with some very light surface scratches describes the vinyl... I test played this record two ways. The first was on an old model turntable with a heavier needle setting and it played through with minimal surface noise, no pops or skips. Then I test played it on a Bang & Olufsen turntable with a very light needle weight and there is very little difference... just a touch of light BGN. This being an early release... means that this should be played at a heavier needle weight setting for optimum sound quality. The album cover has no tape or writing. There are no splits to the spines... The overall coloration to the cover is very, very good (see pictures). If you have any questions... please feel free to contact me.
