Description
The jazz albums that I am listing are generally in good condition, especially when you consider their age many getting on for 50 years. Some although played quite a lot still sound really good and play MUCH BETTER THAN THEY LOOK.
PLEASE REMEMBER I OFFER A FULL, NO QUIBBLE, REFUND~~~SO IF NOT HAPPY WITH SOUND PLEASE RETURN (I will also refund return postage)
MILES DAVIS
Title~ Workin'
Rare 1959 Prestige ~ Metronome original flip~back with RVG in run~out groove.
This is a RARE original Danish Prestige~Metronome pressing using the RVG masters. This was issued through an exclusive licensing agreement with USA Prestige and were limited pressing runs and generally reckoned to have been of better quality than their USA counterparts. The Lps were issued in soft cover fully laminated flipback sleeves with New Jersey address on rear.
Considering the Lp is over 50 years old this is a about at least a VG+ copy and having played it the heavy vinyl press (deep~groove) still sounds really good.
Cat No~ LP 7066
OVERALL CONDITION
SLEEVE~ VG++
VINYL ~looks VG+ but overall plays better than that.
THERE ARE NO DEEP MARKS JUMPS OR REPEATS
GRADING : I grade records firstly visually and sample aurally for overall sound quality. Should you feel I have misgraded please remember that I offer a full NO QUIBBLE refund or agreed price reduction if I am off the mark.
NEAR MINT (NM)~~a top copy~audio listening and visual grading has not revealed any imperfections. Lp is guaranteed to sound superb and shows very little sign of playing.
NEAR EXCELLENT (EX or EX+)~~careful visual inspection audio sampling has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the LP should sound superb and it will be hard to find a better copy. Sleeve and any inserts/inners are in excellent shape. You will not be disappointed.
VG+~~ audio listening has revealed some limited surface noise (especially at run~in groove and towards start of each side and the run~out groove) or the odd crackle here and there. Visually the Lp may have light scuffs but nothing major though has obviously been played a few times. There should be no skips or repeats and play without distortion.
Sleeve might have light creases or minor ringwear or spine wear but nothing too serious.
Overall the Lp and sleeve are still quite acceptable and a better copy may never come along!
STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE AND STILL A VERY ACCEPTABLE SOUND!!
VG~~not great and may have surface noise throughout but I will flag up this grading rarely.
The sleeve will have seen better days.
Probably worth it for rarity value.
Postage ~~Unfortunately UK postage charges have increased (10~15%) recently so I have had to add on a bit more~orders over £25 will be sent registered in the UK and INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR or TRACKED (where available) world wide. It costs a bit extra but I am sure you will agree it is worth it.
Postage discount will be applied to 2 or more purchases.
All orders guaranteed professionally packed.
