MILES DAVIS WATER BABIES featuring his Wayne Shorter Herbie Hancock Chick Corea, Tony Williams and Dave Holland Septet. Inventive, mellow slow burn out there modal music from an all star band. 1994 scarce Last fully analogue US press with the marbled red and grey labels. In 1994 you had to be determined to buy an album from a mainstream label, the evil silver disc had the world in its grip. A few tics in places to this, but a clean transfer from the master tapes, where the UK and rest of the world issues were all pressed from copy tapes posted out to them. Most if not all subsequent pressings have a digital stage in the transfer. I have always chosen best sounding pressings for myself, and had kept this one as I had noted that earlier pressings are a bit hissy, and I never fell for the Mofi lie, I can tell a digital stage when I hear it, so this is the goldilocks pressing for me. To buy a US pressing from the states costs you the same or more in postage as I am listing this LP for. Very good plus plus to excellent record in an excellent sleeve. Plays excellent with the aforementioned tics end of side one. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
