MILES DAVIS QUINTET 'WORKIN' LP ORIGINAL PRESTIGE 1ST UK ISSUE (PRLP 7166)

This is a very good copy of this rare and very collectible first UK issue LP from the Miles Davis Quintet. The cover is generally in good condition apart from a couple of creases (see photos). The spine is really good although it tapers in a bit at both ends. There is some minor ring wear to both front and rear (see photos) and some marks as well as a stain to the top left of the rear. There's also a small index sticker on the rear (see photo) that I haven't attempted to remove. The labels are nice and clean and the original paper (slightly discoloured) and polythene inner sleeve is included. The vinyl plays really well with some minimal background noise although at the beginning of the album the bass seems to distort a little at the very start of the record. I think this might be due to a slight warp in the LP as it doesn't lie 100% entirely flat on the plate but it does settle down through the first track and plays well throughout after that and is much less noticeable at the start of the B side.
I've tried to be ultra-critical in my description but in reality this is a good copy of a desirable LP that's over 50 years old and still in very good condition. I'd say the condition of the cover and vinyl is VG.
