Description

"COOKIN' WITH THE MILES DAVIS QUINET" LP PRESTIGE RECORDS MONO PRESTIGE 7094   * * * Brilliant session from Miles Davis w/ John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. One of Davis' last sessions for the Prestige label before he fully moved on to Columbia.   This pressing has nice yellow DEEP GROOVE W. 50th street NYC labels.    RVG Stamped in dead wax on both sides (Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder.) This record has been cleaned on a professional VPI machine.   * * *   VINYL:VG+(Several light surface marks on either side - nothing deep or greatly significant - some of the exceed the 1" mark.  It should be noted that the record, although showing several visible abrasions, plays extremely well - while not VG++ or NM, this is a very nice copy. Much of the original luster is still in tact, and the vinyl sparkles and shines almost like new.)  LABELS:VG++(Some very light wear around spindle holes. Nothing unsightly.) COVER:VG(Looks nice and fully presentable. A few flaws are present. Notably a partial seam split, beginning at the top spine and extending almost, but not quite all the way to the opening. Some tape in the top right hand corner. Some general wear / light discoloration to either side. A pencil mark is present on the back cover. Corners look good with light 'bumping', but no unsightly fraying or creasing. Spine looks excellent - fully legible without any major signs of wear. Not perfect, but it looks fine.)   CHECK OUR OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE RARE RECORDS AND OTHER OBSCURITIES!!!

IN THE CASE OF A SEALED RECORD, WE ASSUME THAT THE VINYL IS MINT.  HOWEVER, NOT EVERY SEALED RECORD IS PERFECT.  SOME HAVE FACTORY DEFECTS, SOME ARE WARPED, ETC.  IF YOU WIN A SEALED RECORD AND ARE WORRIED ABOUT SUCH POSSIBILITIES, WE WILL, AT YOUR REQUEST, OPEN IT PRIOR TO SENDING IT TO INSPECT THE DISC.
