This rare Miles Davis Kind of Blue LP is a must-have for any jazz vinyl collection. With a 33 RPM speed and original pressing, this first edition Columbia record features hard bop and modal styles, with jazz instrumentals and vocals that will transport you to the 1960s. The vinyl is in excellent shape and comes in a cardboard sleeve with the classic 6-eye design. The sleeve or album cover is also in very good shape, making this a true gem for jazz music enthusiasts.

The album cover has a couple of errors that were corrected in later pressing. They are the order of music on side two differs from what is listed on the cover and the name Adderley is misspelled Adderly.

The album cover has a blemish 1.5 inches down on the upper left edge where a label or tape was removed.

The paper insert is split slightly at the bottom center.

The record itself shows that it has been played but remains in excellent condition. If the pictures of the record looks cloudy in places it is because it is the reflection of the clouds in the sky. I took the photos outside to get as much light as I could so you could see the record clearly and could not get a good angle on the photo that did not reflect clouds and my camera.

The matrix numbers are XLP47324-1B and XLP47325-1C

All of the jazz records that we list are from a collection we acquired when we bought a furnished house from the estate of an elderly couple who built the house I 1954 after returning from military service. They had no children and really enjoyed jazz music. Most of the collection appears to be from  the late 50s and early 60s. All of the albums were stored in a hall closet, not in a basement or garage.
