PLAY-TESTED: I normally play-test each unsealed record I list and do my best to appraise it as accurately and conservatively as possible. If you purchase a record and believe the condition (audible or otherwise) to be substantially different than expected based on my description/notes, please message me so we can work it out.

DEAD WAX INFO: If you need stamper/matrix information, please message me and I will provide it ASAP.

CLEANING RECORDS: I no longer have my record cleaning machine, so a thorough cleaning is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED once you receive your LP. Doing so may reduce (no guarantees) some of the surface noise a record might have. AND there are very few records, if any, that have dead quiet grooves.

PROTECTIVE PACKAGING: For 1-2 LP purchases, except box sets, I will use professional LP mailers with cardboard stiffeners and additional padding to ensure a safe arrival. And, the corners will be protected inside. For multiple purchases and box sets, a cardboard box with substantial packing material will be used.

TITLE: KIND OF BLUE. 2-LP Vinyl Record Set in Gatefold Jacket. 1995 CLASSIC RECORDS 180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE REISSUE. Sides 1 & 2 are the original speed, side 3 is the corrected speed, and side 4 is a 45 RPM alternate take of Flamenco Sketches.

FORMAT: 33 1/3 RPM 12" Vinyl 2-LP Set.

RECORD LABEL & CATALOG NUMBER: Classic Records (licensed from Sony Music), CS 8163.

SPECIFIC NOTES: Mastered by Bernie Grundman. 180 Gram Audiophile 2-LP Reissue.

CONDITION (***Using the Goldmine Grading Standard***)

VINYL SOUND QUALITY: VG+. Light surface noise overall. A little stronger in a couple spots but still eminently listenable!
VINYL APPEARANCE: NM-: Light signs of handling and minor surface scuffing from storage - still excellent and glossy.
COVER: Near Mint Minus. Two very mild corner bumps, otherwise almost perfect.

Near Mint (NM or M-): Near perfect record and cover. No visible flaws or defects (any manufacturing scuffs should be noted). No unexpected surface noise or other audible issues at normal listening volume.

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++): Only a very small number of minor flaws present (ex. a couple of faint hairlines, a light scuff). No unexpected surface noise or other audible issues at normal listening volume. Cover shows no significant ring wear, nor seam splits.

Very Good Plus (VG+): More slight signs of wear but still an excellent condition record that plays well. Any surface noise is very minimal and the record is still an enjoyable listen. No groove wear. Cover may show minor defects including very light ring wear.

Very Good (VG): More obvious wear. Surface noise evident on playing, especially in soft passages, and during a song's intro and fade but never overpowers the music. Ring wear and other defects evident.

Good (G): Worn. Significant surface noise throughout, scratches that produce noise, but will play through without skipping.

Poor (P), or Fair (F): Worn out. Won't play through without skipping or repeating.
