MILES DAVIS IN PERSON VOLUMES 1 & 2
Issue : UK 1st PRESS Label : CBS Catalogue No : BPG 62306 / 62307
These are UK 1st presses on the plain orange textured ’33’ CBS labels. They are the rare earliest labels and are complete with the original heavy vinyl, the original inner sleeves and laminated flipback sleeves.
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition. They have a sensational mirrored gloss, every track looks sensational. Volume 1 has a couple of the very slight hairline marks but otherwise all sides are fabulous. The original CBS label are bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is exceptionally sharp and there is no spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. It is essential to buy these albums in great condition and we are pleased to say it sounds superb. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Even in the quietest moments, it sounds superb. It is a pleasure to listen to from start to finish.
The laminated sleeves are in Near Mint condition. The laminate has the most sensational mirror like shine. The earliest light grey is as bold as the day it was printed. The text is crisp and the image is perfect. The rear of the sleeves are superb. The whole sleeves are extremely solid and the spines are immaculate, very firm with clear text.
