Description
CBS/Sony ?– SOPL-163. Reissue of the 1964 release. Obi, insert included. Vinyl NM, Jacket VG+ - corner bump and 3 inch spine split.
Info for all vinyl sales:
My grading is a modification of typical Goldmine grading to add eBay's excellent
which fits between VG+ and NM.
Records are graded visually with vinyl and cover/jacket getting separate grades. I
have been selling vinyl since 1972 and think this is a reasonable system.
Vinyl:
SS - Still sealed.
Mint - I do not use.
NM - Looks as new
Ex - May have a few scuffs but no scratches. Equivalent to VG++
VG+ is for average condition vinyl. Perhaps some scuffs or shallow scratches which
do not detract. An obviously played record but well taken care of.
VG - now we get into territory where there will be some issues. Unless there is a
reason I do not sell vinyl in VG condition. Sometimes there is a reason (rare for
instance.)
Covers:
SS - Still sealed.
Mint - I do not use.
EX - Slight wear but nice collectible condition.
VG+ Cover is clean, small tags, writing, etc. Artwork may show some age yellowing.
No stains or spots. Small cut out holes or slots but nothing big. may have minor
ring wear or bumps.
VG May have seam splits, bumps, tears, tag marks, larger cut out holes, corners,
or slots. Yellowing, staining, spots ok but nothing really ugly. Ringwear
typical.
I generally don't list below VG for covers. I will say there are many records that
have survived in this cover grade with higher rated vinyl. The covers in this case
have done their job.
Shipping is standard medial mail in cardboard mailers with padding on both sides.
Generally the lp will not move in the jacket the way we pack.
