MILES DAVIS - COLLECTORS' ITEMS
Original Rare Prestige LP 7044, with yellow/black deep groove fireworks label, W. 50th St. NYC label, RVG hand-etched in dead wax. Outstanding copy!
Side A: Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Charlie Chan (i.e. Charlie Parker on tenor!), Walter Bishop, Percy Heath, Philly Joe Jones play Compulsion, The Serpents Tooth (2 takes), Round About Midnight.
Side B: Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Tommy Flanagan, Paul Chambers, Art Taylor play In your own sweet way, Vierd Blues, No Line.
Jacket is VG++ condition, sturdy, glossy and clean, light shelf wear/corner wear, small 1-inch split at top seam, price written in pencil on back.
Vinyl is in VG++ condition, very clean and glossy, a few faint sleeve scuffs/hairlines, record plays through without skipping and with clear, full sound throughout, light background crackle audible in the softer sections. Great copy!
Labels are VG+ ("45" in red pencil on label side B), very lightly played.
$3.50 for USPS Media Mail shipping with delivery confirmation within the USA, $6 USPS First Class to Canada, $15 flat fee for USPS First Class Air Mail International. Will be packed securely in an LP mailer, with extra cardboard inserts for reinforcement, and the vinyl removed from the jacket to prevent seam splits in transit, with both placed in plastic sleeves.
