MILES DAVIS: "COLLECTORS' ITEMS" LP - On PRESTIGE Records, PRLP 7044. Original 1956 MONO vinyl 1st pressing with DEEP GROOVE yellow labels with black print and the 446 W. 50th ST., N.Y.C. address on both labels! RVG etched in the trail-off on both sides. Heavy vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Miles Davis/trumpet; Sonny Rollins/tenor sax; Charlie Parker ("Charlie Chan")/tenor sax; Walter Bishop or Tommy Flanagan/piano; Paul Chambers or Percy Heath/bass; Art Taylor or Philly Joe Jones/drums. The vinyl is in NM condition (absolutely beautiful gloss)!! The laminated jacket is in VG++/VG+ shape, displays nicely. Original owner's signature on back only at top and sides. There is tiny wear at a couple corner tips. No bar code, no cut-out markings, and the laminated front cover graphics are particularly striking. The songs are: The Serpent's Tooth I; The Serpent's Tooth II; 'Round About Midnight; Compulsion; No Line; Vierd Blues; In Your Own Sweet Way.
