This LP is considered one of the most outstanding LP's of all time by Jazz lovers worldwide.  Opinions vary by audiophiles as to whether different future versions (different mixes) improved or downgraded the sound but, by in large, this Mono release is the version most sought after.  The photos should confirm any concerns or questions as to version, release, mix, etc.

As for the condition of the LP, the many photos should confirm that as well.  The front cover is strong and bold with some noticeable aging discoloration of the white band at the top.  Also note that the front left edge near the spine has a couple of points with separation of the laminate.  That same wear can be seen on the right side as well.  The back cover has some discoloration which can also be seen in the photos.  At the top left corner of the rear cover--barely visible--is a faded name.  It was discovered during the photo session and is truly hard to detect.  Top and bottom edges have some minor wear which can be seen.  The spine does have a few spots where wear can be seen and there is one 1.5 inch tear.  Since this spine has no writing, it isn't quite as noticeable.  Overall the cover shows some of its age but it is still a very strong nice clean copy.

The vinyl is smooth and glossy with incredible cleanliness and only minimal visual evidence of some paper scuffing.  Certainly there will be some background noise and mild scratching but overall the disc looks really nice.  The inner sleeve will be a new generic one.

The seller gives only visual impressions and is not at all knowledgable about this generation or genre of music.  Buyers should feel free to email any questions in advance please.  We ship our records in the specially designed mailers sold by Bags Unlimited.  We take pride in carefully preparing and shipping each record.

Our refund policy is based on total buyer satisfaction so we only refund full payment upon return.  We do not offer post purchase partial refunds.

Items with values exceeding $200 will be shipped via USPS Priority International.

To our many wonderful international buyers, a reminder we always comply with Ebay and Customs official policy and code the "value" slot of the Customs Form with the actual purchase price .   Also please note that the USPS 1st International shipping includes a Customs Tracking number.  Recently that number has not been posting on the website with records we have shipped overseas.  Upon contacting the local post office, they were able to confirm all of our shipments had been processed and mailed through their computers but the standard, and previously reliable Customs Tracking number (Usually an LC number) has been missing and inconsistent.  This is probably temporary but we did want our international customers to know that we will continue posting those numbers but do not be alarmed if they are not trackable.  In the rare instance of a missing record, USPS can provide status with a phone call placed to them.
