Description

Vintage deep groove mono pressing of this 1957 release, compiling 1954 recordings. See back cover photo for all-star lineup of musicians. Runoff groove has RVG (for the famed recording engineer Rudy Van Gelder).


Deep groove record looks VG++ but plays VG to VG+. There is some surface noise/crackling, generally masked by the music. It's apparent mostly at the start of each side, but a bit between cuts and at some quieter parts. No real scratches though.


Cover is VG++ with some overall shelf wear and discoloration on the back. The back also has small numbers in upper left corner and a stamped D in the upper right. The spine printing is sharp.
