MIKE WESTBROOK'S "METROPOLIS" (1971) U.K. RCA GATEFOLD ALBUM "A CLASSIC BRITISH JAZZ MASTERPIECE" with some of the U.K.'s greatest musicians. "METROPOLIS was composed during 1968-9. It has been played in various forms by bands ranging from four to 25 musicians. This version for big-band was written with the assistance of an Arts Council bursary and was first presented by the London Jazz Centre Society at the Mermaid Theatre, London, on May 18, 1969."
