Over the years I have built up a HUGE backlog of records. However, it is now getting to the stage where it is getting a bit over the top. Therefore I will be listing a HUGE amount of records over the next two weeks to make space. So keep checking back - as more and MORE items will appear every day! Every genre will be represented, and MANY items are very VERY rare indeed!
POSTAGE OFFER! On these listings I will only charge postage for the first item ONLY - with any multiple buys being FREE postage! This is limited to 5 records (as I can only safely send 5 records in each box. So for example - if you buy 5 records, you will only pay postage for 1 record. THERE IS LOTS OF ABSOLUTE GUFF WRITTEN ABOUT THIS LP - MAINLY BE PEOPLE 'TRYING TO SELL RECORDS'. MOST IF IT IS COMPLETELY UNTRUE. AND THIS REAL 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING PROVES MOST OF WHAT IS SAID ABOUT THIS LP AS COMPLETE FANTASY.
FIRSTLY THE LYNTONE PRESSINGS ARE LATER CONTRACT PRESSINGS TO KEEP UP WITH DEMAND - AND SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY DISCOUNTED. PEOPLE ONLY PRETEND THEY ARE EARLIER TO INFLATE VALUE. SURE THEY ARE SLIGHTLY RARER THAN EMI PRESSINGS - BUT THEY ARE LATER, AND JUST CONTRACT PRESSINGS, NOTHING MORE EXCITING THAN THAT.
SECONDLY 'ROBOR' COVERS SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY DISCOUNTED, AS THESE ARE OBVIOUSLY LATER.
THIRDLY ANY COPIES WITH A 'PINCHED' SPINE ARE AGAIN LATER - AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED. AGAIN JUST INVENTED DETAIL BECAUSE THEY LOOK 'DIFFERENT'. AND THATS NO REASON AT ALL TO ASSUME THEY ARE EARLIER - BECAUSE THEY CLEARLY ARENT!

2) 1ST PRESS ONLY 2U/2U MATRIXES (ANY WITH 2U/3U MATRIXES ARE DEFINITELY NOT 1ST PRESSINGS).
3) BUT THE ADDED BONUS HERE - IS THAT THIS LP CAME FROM AN EMI PRODUCER HIMSELF, AND HAS INCREDIBLY EARLY 1/A 1/R MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS. NOW THE 'R' IS INDISTINCT AND COULD BE A 'P'. EITHER WAY - OUT OF THE MILLIONS OF THIS LP THAT WERE MADE - THIS LP EITHER HAS 1/A 1/R MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS (SHOWING IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST 600 COPIES EVER MADE), OR 1/A 1/P MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS (SHOWING IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST 900 COPIES EVER MADE).
SO THIS COPY PROVES THE POINT COMPLETELY THAT 99% OF WHAT IS WRITTEN ABOUT THIS LP IS WILD GUESSWORK AND SHOULD BE IGNORED. THE 2U/2U MATRIXES, AND THE 1/A 1/R MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS ARE IRREFUTABLE AND INDISPUTABLE. AND BEFORE ANYONE SAYS 'THE COVER COULD HAVE BEEN SWAPPED'. NO IT COULDNT - THIS LP CAME FROM THE PRODUCERS HOUSE LESS THAN 24 HOURS AGO.
THIS LP HAS THE CORRECT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS RECORD, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS MATRIXES, AND ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET. THE 'REAL' EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING AND A 'TRUE' RARITY IN EVERY RESPECT!
GRADINGS:- COVER IS EXCELLENT (REALLY NICE!), AND THE RECORD IS VG++++ (BARELY PLAYED, REALLY NICE, AND ONLY 2 OR 3 MEGA LIGHT NON SOUNDING SCUFFLINES!).

REGARDING GRADINGS:- As I am listing in large amounts, I will only have time to use a simple grading. Obviously I will try to maintain my STRICT standards. These records are EXACTLY as they were found, so there may be the odd fingerprint / dust etc. However there will be NO dirty / mouldy records, and most will be PERFECTLY shiny and clean. In any case, I know that many bidders like to clean their records in their own way. There is no time for playgradings, so these listings are strictly visual only - though this is under a 100 watt buld which picks up any serious marks. I will not mention details that do not affect the grading - such as unglued seams for example, as these can simply be re-glued! Any LP which should have a Picture / Lyric inner sleeve, will have it displayed. I also will NOT mention any wear in line with the grading given - such as edgewear, rubbing, etc.
PICTURES:- Time constraints limits me to 1 picture only. BE SURE the cover back will be in the same condition / grading as the front (with NO hidden defects!), and if this is not the case - it will be mentioned!
SERIOUS DEFECTS:- Any LPs cover or inner with splits WILL BE MENTIONED - if there is nothing mentioned - the cover & inner are UNSPLIT. The same with rips / tears / sticker marks / writing - all will be mentioned. If nothing is mentioned these will NOT be present.
PACKING / POSTAGE TIME :- Usual high standards. Packed properly to avoid any impact damage (buffer zones) and taped tight. Obviously with the HUGE amount I will be listing, I will need a few days to pack & post. However, I will endeavour to despatch items out as quickly as possible (and will be taking a whole week off to do it!).
Apologies to do such short gradings / descriptions - but I have well over 1000 records to list, and these have to go quickly! Hence there will be some UNDOUBTED bargains here! GOOD LUCK IF YOU DECIDE TO BID!
