"Where Are You"
Original 7" picture sleeve 45rpm Mono EP, Kommotion label KX-111253, released 1966. Flipback laminated cover, Australian pressing.
Up for auction is this original Mono Australian pressing by Mike Furber & The Bowery Boys on the highly collectable Kommotion label with laminated picture sleeve. A classic EP of garage pop containing two songs penned by Barry Gibb plus one penned by Lonnie Lee.

This record plays very well with good dynamics. There are a fair number of surface sleeve scuffs plus some hairline surface marks on each side plus a scratch on Side2 (thus the reduced grading) but these do not affect playability. Some background surface noise is heard however this does not overpower the dynamics .The vinyl still has quite good gloss/sheen. Labels are quite clean with an relatively inconspicous name written in biro at the top of each label and a number written on the Side 1 label (see scans).
Cover: VG+ . Cover in great condition with the picture sleeve colours still very vibrant. No ringwear apparent. There is slight lifting of the laminate along top and bottom edges & spine (associated with minor creasing) and near the mid-right hand side of front cover. The white on the rear cover has become a little off-white due to ageing. There is a barely perceptible impression of a name written just below the middle of the upper flipback tab. Rear cover very clean with slight darkening along the edges of the flipback tabs .Corners and edges reasonably crisp showing a small amount of rubbing, mainly on the upper right hand corner. Sleeve opening still quite crisp with a well defined edge. Spine showing minimal wear with catalogue number, title and artist extremely legible.
