Easily the best performance AND recording by American rock musicians I've ever heard from the 60s.  I almost can't believe this came from a "session", the seamless flow from genre to genre between tracks is of White Album quality.  Should be right near the top of any classic albums list and I really don't see why it isn't... it was on a major label and all of the players involved are legends in their own right.  I mean considering how overrated some of their other works are, I don't see why I never heard about this one.  TOP NOTCH.
