We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - Considered as a legend of Danish Rock, Midnight Sun, were led by dynamic guitarist Peer Frost who starred in the mighty '68/'69 "Youngflowers" making two highly sought and costly Lp's. Midnight Sun hailed from Copenhagen, at first as "Rainbow Band" in 1970 with Bent Hesselmann on winds/flute (from Psych/Pop group The Maxwells), Peer Frost on guitar (formerly of Young Flowers, a 60's 'Cream' styled rock act), Carsten Smedegaard on drums, Niels Bronsted on keys, Bo Stief on bass and Lars Bisgaard on vocals (also ex-Maxwells).They recorded as "Rainbow Band" on Sonet, but, when vocallist Bisgaard left and was replaced by newcomer Allan Mortensen, they decided to re-record the whole album with their new vocalist under their new group name, "Midnight Sun" to avoid legal issues with a Canadian band named Rainbow Band who had the name rights.
Midnight Sun made a far and widely known name for themselves 1970-1975 issuing 3 strong psych/prog/underground rock LP's including this one "Danish Beat" which combined the best elements of the group.LISTEN! FULL LP, CLICK ON IMAGE BELOW:

This is cool, energetic and pretty loose jazzy psychedelic rock output, featuring the intense, melodramatic vocals of Allan Mortensen and a nice team which could perform both with complex prog/jazzy & psychedelic rock environments. Lots of emphatic, Peer Frost heavy guitar runs and solos and a steady rhythm section, supported by the winds work of Brent Hesselman.The tracks evolve from dramatic instrumental passages and strong lyrical moments to abstract solos and individual beams of technique, where Midnight Sun jump on the jamming wagon to deliver dense, mostly instrumental and slightly improvised underground rock passages with endless, scratching guitar soloing, fiery heavy/psych leads, powerful grooves and impressive bass and drum work; strong amounts of energy flow throughout the entire album - ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
