This is where it all started. A superclean pressing in tip-top condition. Here it is, the first Hardcore record from Marlboro country, released in 1978. Yes, this killer 7” was issued in 1978. That means you are bidding on American Hardcore History. All 4 tracks are perfect from start to finish. eBay prices: $405 + $395 (US). This top produced masterpiece was given 9 of 10 points by the FLEX book/website (US Hardcore / Punk Discography) and here’s the comment from the wonderful FLEX:
· Fastest punk record before 1980 - there’s almost everything that makes up a “real” hardcore record. Two fast tracks and two others that are calmer, but equally intense. This record along with the first Black Flag EP laid the (vinyl) foundation for LA hardcore. A classic. [9]
The MIDDLE CLASS are from Orange Country, California and the private mini label ‘Joke’ records kicked out this cracker 36 years ago (catalogue number 09831). You can listen to the stompers ‘You Belong’ / ‘Situations’ / ‘Insurgence’ and the outstanding title track ‘Out Of Vogue’. With the band is bass player Mike Patton who produced the excellent first album by the ADOLESCENTS in 1981.
