We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. EXTREMELY RARE

Haven't seen a copy for years; hand numbered first edition (number 111) of only 200 made - a micro pressing - produced by the "Stoned Brothers" who advise on cover to "Beware Of Immitations" ...

What had originally piqued our curiosity about High Times in Friscowas the fact that it included the legendary much-read-about-but-at-the-time-never-before-heard 16-minute version of Moby Grape's "Dark Magic" recorded on December 31, 1966 at the Avalon Ballroom. Arguably the greatest of all psychedelic epics from the 1960s, this mind-expanding marathon puts the band's considerable instrumental and vocal chops on extended display. What other group could do both two-and-a-half minute 45 releases and stretched out improvisational LP pieces so well? From the strange effects (presumably provided by Skip Spence) at its beginning to the closing guitar passage, there is not one wasted moment in this magnum acid opus.
Additionally, there are several other items of interest to be found on High Times In Frisco. The opening material by Jefferson's Airplane - their 8: minute interpretation of  "Kansas City" and fantastic "Fat Angel" As well the 15:05 minute "Turn On Your Lovelight" jam with Greatful Dead & Big Brother's Holding Company w/ Janis - is essential - intensely played with Janis raising the roof behind cool shuffling guitars & boogie beats...Then what may be the best live Country Joe and the Fish track is included with "Death Sound Blues" from the Filllmore in '68. For whatever reason, this is the toughest and bluesiest C.J. & Fish ever sounded.

CONDITION: The cover: Very very fragile & delicate cover is very colorful, but thin! In this case it is well preserved with only a little previous handling & use visible around the corners, just minor, otherwise the front & back are clean, rated "EX" (excellent)  no delete marks, no writing and no split seams ... collection worthy rarity ...

The vinyl: Extremely clean and glossy over both sides, rated M- a TOP COPY, so expect enjoyable audio as well as the first day of release long ago ... both labels are clean, incidentally labels are intended as printed "Windspeil Records" = correct recorded product as described!
