Description

This is a gently used lp by MICKEY HART titled ROLLING THUNDER. This pressing is the original first pressing from 1972. This was released by Warner Bros. Records & it's #BS 2635, stereo. This album was Mickey's first solo after briefly leaving the Grateful Dead. But he utilized many of the Bay area/San Francisco musicians from the early 70's on these recordings. This included the Grateful Dead, Stephen Stills, Grace Slick & Paul Kantner, Tower of Power, etc. See the pics for further details. The grading for the vinyl is a minimum of VG, rarely played. There's a light scratch seen on Side 2 thru tracks 2 & 3. It's light and I doubt it affects play. Whether it's audible I can't say. The vinyl is examined under a strong light by the naked eye. I don't have the equipment to play test these albums nor do I have a vacuum record cleaning machine, cloths, liquids, etc. The vinyl is still glossy and shiny but there is some spotting from sitting for over 50 years in the jacket. If you have record cleaning cloths & liquids, that'd be fine. The jacket is graded G or slightly better because of typical edge wear, ringwear, light scratches, dinged corners, etc., around it. The original insert is included & is in good condition. There's 2 brackets in pencil around Jerry Garcia: insect fear, on the Pump Song credits. The original Warner inner sleeve is good with a seam split on the opposite end of the open side from the album cutting into it. As of this writing, this album is appx 52 years old.
