Description

Michele Auclair  -violin-  and Jacqueline Bonneau  -piano-  play the Sonatas for Violin and Piano from Debussy and Ravel. One of the rarest and most sought after violin records. Sensational playing!!!

Please take a look at my other very rare violin and cello records. Also present Decca SXL, HMV ASD, Mengelberg/Math passion (original) etc. Thanks.

Les Discophiles Francais. Made in France. Cat. 525.122. Cover EX+ (minor shelfwear on the edges. Record; the Ravel Sonata NM- (one ultra small pressing fault causes only 4 very, very soft dull tics. This is almost inaudible. You must concentrate io hear it  "ear on the speaker"). The Debussy Sonata VG++ (and 3 hairthin very small marks causes together 6  loud tics and 14 tics. 3 harmless hairlines. Now and then soft crackles, on the Ravel it is almost inaudible, due pressing of the fifties. This would be almost certainly not audible with a mono cartridge). See here below with what combination this record is graded.

The record is graded with the combination Hadcock/ Grado reference MM stereo cartridge. This combination is very sensitive to marks and backgroudnoises (in general much more sensitive than any combination with a MC stereo cartridge).
