Condizioni : copertina laminata frontalmente che presenta un moderato ring wear ed un poco di usura generale qui e là ma particolarmente nel retro; grande stato, EX / vinile con una sorta di mini firma fatta a penna su entrambi i lati dell'etichetta all'interno del quadrato che rinchiude la parola BIEM, si osservi, per cortesia l'immagine n. 3. Qualche modesto segno d'uso e una piccola strisciolina leggermente opaca sulla seconda facciata condiziona minimamente l'ascolto con due, tre leggeri clicks; grande stato, EX+

Conditions : laminated cover on the front shows a moderate ring wear and and a bit of overall wear and tear here and there but particularly on the back, EX  / disc has on both sides of the label a sort of mini signature done with a pen inside the square enclosing the word BIEM, please look to image nr. 3. Some light scuffs and a small slight cloudy stripe on the second side affect minimally play with two, three light clicks, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : musiche composte e dirette da Michel Magne. Due i temi principali su questo disco ed entrambi di grande personalità musicale. " Le Monocle Rit Jaune " è un brano jazz sempre condotto da un batterista di grande tecnica con misurate pause ed assoli inusuali. Nella prima parte del brano la batteria è magnificamente assistita dalle note jazz del flauto e con un ottimo basso che scandisce il ritmo dal sofisticato andamento moderato ma nello stesso tempo incalzante. Nella sua seconda parte il flauto viene rimpiazzato dal sax alto ma le emozioni sonore per l’ascoltatore non cambiano. L’altra traccia mi piace chiamarla " Giochi non proibiti " o detto alla Francese "Jeux pas interdits ". Non si tratta del film di René Clément e manca la superba chitarra di Narciso Yepes ma siamo di fronte ad una gustosissima invenzione del compositore di Lisieux. " Monocle Story " è un magnifico gioco ritmico fra percussioni e strumenti a corda con alcune cesure che fermano la dinamica ritmica. Nel "secondo tempo" i giochi sono invece fra basso e flauto con i loro preziosi fraseggi. La brevità delle altre due tracce non è sufficiente per esprimere al meglio una particolare musicalità. In cinque parole : contengono atmosfere nostalgiche e romantiche.

Notes : music and orchestra Michel Magne. Two main themes on this record, and both of great musical personality. " The Monocle Rit Jaune " is a jazz tune always led by a drummer from great technique with well-measured breaks and unusual solos. In the first part of the track the drums are magnificently supported by the jazz notes of the flute and with a great bass which marks the rhythm by the sophisticated and moderate development but at the same time pressing. In its second part, the flute is replaced by alto sax but the sound emotions for the listener do not change at all. I like to call the other track as "Unforbidden games" or in French "Jeux pas interdits ". This is not the film by René Clément and lacks the superb guitar of Narciso Yepes but we are facing a flavorful invention by the composer of Lisieux.  " Monocle Story " is an amazing rhythmic game between percussion and string instruments with some caesuras stopping  its pronounced vitality. In the "second half" the games are between bass and flute with their precious phrasings.  The brevity of the other two tracks is not enough to determinate at my best a particular musicality. In six words : they feature nostalgic and romantic atmospheres.
