Condizioni : copertina laminata su entrambi i lati in grande stato, NEAR MINT / vinile che è stato suonato diverse volte ereditando da vecchi giradischi diversi segni tuttavia non particolarmente distruttivi. Il maggior difetto all'ascolto è nella prima traccia del lato A : la canzone interpretata da Michel Legrand che nella prima parte è condizionata da un certo numero di clicks (direi fra vg e vg+). Gli altri tre brani non rivelano all'ascolto particolari difetti rilevanti e possono essere gradati fra ex (a2) e ex+ (b1, b2); buono stato, VG++

Conditions : laminated cover on both sides is in great shape, NEAR MINT / vinyl has been played several times inheriting from the old turntables various scuffs but not particularly destructive. The biggest flaw to the listening is in the first track of side A: the song performed by Michel Legrand wherein the first part is affected by some clicks (I would say between vg and vg+). The other three tracks do not reveal particular considerable flaws and can be graded between ex (a2) and ex+ (b1, b2); VG++

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : musiche composte e dirette da Michel Legrand. Sicuramente il brano più conosciuto è " Soirée-Jerk Chez Les Dumonceau " dalle straordinarie sonorità freakbeat. Il ritmo è scatenato con improvvisazioni dell'organo Hammond supportato degnamente da basso e batteria mentre vocalizzi femminili tendono con vigore ad aprirsi un varco in mezzo a questa fantastica giungla sonora che non finirà di stupire l'ascoltatore con altre invenzioni musicali. Brano che può essere facilmente sentito cercando nel web. Tuttavia le note positive non terminano qui. L'extended play contiene una canzone, " Tendre Voyou ", interpretata dallo stesso Michel Legrand in Francese. Ha ritmo veloce e un interessante gioco di canti e vocalizzi femminili. " La Rolls dans la Neige " ha il suono dei violini come protagonista. Il loro uso non è strettamente sinfonico ma svincolato da generi musicali definiti. Infine " Thème de la Baronne " ottimo blues dal lento andamento con assoli di tromba e il supporto del basso.

Notes : music and orchestra Michel Legrand. Certainly the best-known track is " Soirée-Jerk Chez Les Dumonceau " from the extraordinary freakbeat sonorities. The rhythm is unrestrained with Hammond organ improvisations effectively supported by bass and drums while female vocalisms attempt mightily to open a passage in the midst of this fantastic sound jungle that will not end to amaze the listener with other musical inventions. This tune can easily be heard by searching on the web. However, the positive notes do not end here. The extended play includes a song, " Tendre Voyou ", performed by the same Michel Legrand in French. It has fast pace and an interesting game of female singing and vocalism. " The Rolls dans la Neige " has the sound of the violins as main element. Their use is not strictly symphonic but free from defined musical genres. Finally, " Thème de la Baronne " an excellent blues from the slow development with trumpet solos and support of the bass.
